| Finally, my internet is back to business! Today, I had my pastry class and they decided to do an exam today. It was so f**ked up! Come on! I'm not a pastry guy and this is the first time they actually graded us after 5 semesters!?!?!? And for my first exam, I got 16/20??? i should be getting 20/20 damnit!!! Anyway, during the exam, the chef requires us to make a wedding cake *yum*. There were 4 criterias that she was looking into: The Presentation : (5/5) The Techniques Used: (4/5) (don't know why..) The Neatness: (4/5) (it was neat wut....) Piping Skills: (3/5) (apparently I didn't do different type of piping design wor...)
This was the final product, and yeah, we did petit fours as well:
Tomorrow I will be doing the yogurt thingy again *ewwwww*. Hope I can
post up nicer pictures for you guys to see. Till then, ciao!

| Ok. Another one! I have to go to a friend's house today to finish up a report. After one hour, I got bored and lazy. So guess what? I baked. A very 'decent' tart (as how Tim described it that day). Here is the recipe for the tart a.k.a short crust pastry.
Short Crust Pastry 250g flour 125g soften unsalted butter 2 egg yolks f**k ... i forgot how much sugar 1/4 tsp salt
Mix the flour with sugar and salt. Then add in the butter. Once it's well mixed, add in the egg yolk. Mix till it becomes a dough. Cling wrap it and store it in the chiller for a good 30 minutes. Take it out, roll it thin enough and stick it onto the tart mold. Poke some holes on the base to make sure the heat steam escapes while baking it at 170C for about 20 - 30 minutes. Once done, take it out and leave it till it's at room temperature.
Chocolate Ganache 300g dark chocolate 150g fresh cream 20g butter
Boil the cream till it simmers and mix it with the chocolate & butter. Mix well till all are well incorporated. Fill the tarts with it and keep it in the chiller till it's firm. You can add different types of fruit before pouring the chocolate ganache:)

p/s: This is the tart I made and I swear I didn't copy the pic from the net k!:p
| So, to start off. Recently there was this yogurt company came to approach the college and my chef selected eight of the Culinary students to prepare different dishes using the new yogurt that they are planning to sell. There are the four flavors:
- Cranberry Yogurt
- Green Tea and Aloe Vera Yogurt
- Cappuccino and Vanilla Yogurt
- Orange and Carrot Yogurt
I was one of them and teaming with another student we prepared the main courses. Of course I picked duck meat to accompany with the cranberry yogurt and lamb with the Green Tea Aloe Vera Yogurt. Hope it turns out well. If you want the recipe, lemme know. Feedbacks are welcome :)
| Ok, so probably I might start writing again. I don't know. Suddenly, I just feel like blogging. I don't know what to write...for
now. So just bear with me. Maybe I'll talk about food, or maybe just my
daily routine... or maybe sex... maybe how much I emo everyday. I don't
know. So don't ask. But beware, I swear, and I mean ... a lot! So for those who find it to much to handle, do excuse yourself:) Thank you and have a nice day ahead.
