| | Last Saturday was the final tasting of the 'makan yogurt' tasting
session. As mentioned, 8 of us have to prepare 4 type of courses
(dipping, starter, main course and dessert) to the panel 'judges' from
that company. We started our mise-en-place
at 8 a.m and chef was kind enough to provide us 4 commis to help us
out. However Derick was not able to join us so that means we have 11
cook in total. Preparation was good, had a lot of fun and laughter (as
usual). They came at around 12 pm and most of the stuffs was already
prepared by then. Everything went well, (except that i almost burn all
the duck breasts) and then it was the time for them to give their
feedbacks. The moment we went into the restaurant the applause given by
the judges was overwhelming (i mean it)! We didn't expect that.
hahaha... They were so impressed on how we were able to create so many
kind of dishes by just using 4 yogurt flavors. "The dessert was
FANTASTIC", they said...If everything goes well (means, if they accept
the recipes lah...), they will do the food photo shooting this
saturday. That means, another saturday to be sacrificed. Anyway, enjoy
the pics guys! Btw, sorry, i can only give the description on main
courses coz i was only doing that:p
